Dr. Evan Santiago, DDS, MSD
Dr. Santiago is a Bay Area native. Raised in San Jose, he graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 2005. After several years of working in business, he felt that a career in healthcare would ultimately be more rewarding. Dr. Santiago returned to the Bay Area and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UC San Francisco in 2014.
Dr. Santiago continued his education in New Orleans where he obtained his Masters of Science in Dentistry and a certificate in Periodontics from Louisiana State University. At LSU he completed training in all aspects of dental surgery including dental implants, peri-implantitis, bone regeneration, sinus elevation, esthetic soft tissue grafting, laser therapy, microsurgery, and IV/oral sedation. Dr. Santiago is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
In his free time, Dr. Santiago enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for his favorite sports teams.
Dr. Amanda Boisen, DDS, MS
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Amanda Boisen is a board-eligible periodontist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered periodontal and implant care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2019, followed by 2 years of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency where she served as Chief Resident. After several years in general dentistry and teaching residents at the University of the Pacific AEGD program, Dr. Boisen chose to pursue her passion for surgical and regenerative dentistry by returning to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where she completed her specialty training and Master’s degree in Periodontics.
Her clinical interests include minimally invasive soft tissue grafting, laser and conventional surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontitis, implant placement, ridge and sinus augmentation, and the integration of digital technologies into surgical planning. Dr. Boisen is passionate about helping patients restore oral health and confidence through evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each individual’s needs.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Boisen enjoys mentoring dental students and residents and staying current with the latest research and advancements in regenerative periodontics and implant dentistry. Outside the office, she enjoys photography, travel, exploring the Bay Area’s culinary scene, and spending time with her family, friends and dog.
